Brandon Young, 2018 SF, Memphis Disciples Elite: Young's six second half points helped the Disciples win the Bronze Championship. The 6'4" wing changes direction so quickly. His team did not shoot well beyond the arc, so they relied upon Young and Johnson to create separation in the crowded areas. For a slasher as adept as Young his free throw shooting must improve (44.4% in title game).

Joe Johnson, 2018 SF, Memphis Disciples Elite: Johnson was productive the entire weekend. In the Bronze Championship, Johnson poured in a game-high 19 points. Johnson has really nice feet for a 6'5" freshman. He doesn't have to live down low.

Greg Robinson, 2018 PF, Memphis Disciples Elite: Robinson was one of, if not the tallest 2018 player in attendance. The 6'7" Mississippi man helped with 12 points in the final. It will be interesting to see how well he does when opponents get taller. For now he is absolutely a good option underneath the basket.

Malik Freeman, 2017 SF, Memphis Disciples Elite: Freeman had a huge game against his townsmen, the Memphis Pharoahs. Though the Disciples lost 70-51, Freeman dumped in 16 points and most of them came after the break. Right now Freeman is a 6'2" wing with slashing ability.

Frederick Malone Jr., 2017 PG, Memphis Disciples Elite: The Disciples have another scorer in Malone Jr. Malone Jr. makes up one tip of the Germantown trident. At 6'2" he has good height for finishing. He can also knock down the occasional triple.

Brandon Wade, 2021 PF, Memphis Disciples: The feet are amazing. Standing 5'8" in his final year of elementary, Wade dances around the floor so effortlessly. He successfully used the Euro step a couple of times when attacking the rim. He scored 22 points against his toughest competition in Team Penny. Solid overall performance this past weekend.

Martavious Payne, 2021 PF, Memphis Disciples: Payne joined the Disciples from the Mississippi side of the metro area. He competes for Center Hill Middle School now. In the future Payne will be a dominating force underneath the basket. He doesn't rely on size to establish rather he moves his feet to get in good position. As his game matures he will lean on his natural gifts more. Built like a 12-year old Zach Randolph (Memphis Grizzlies), Payne can control his body in mid-air somewhat. He finished off a layup alley-oop Saturday afternoon.

Kameion Briggs, 2021 PG, Memphis Disciples: Briggs scored big for the Disciples. He moves the ball up the floor and defends on ball pretty well. He has a good feel for the game and makes his teammates better by distributing the ball. You gottal love a player that loves to compete on both ends of the floor. Briggs plays for the competitive Ridgeway Middle.

Tryout ONLY
Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name,
Thy  Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
Forever and ever.
